After setup, Don came by to be sure we knew that there was a heavy storm rolling in. Don apparently also carries treats for the dogs who visit Kountry Air and our pups were thrilled to learn this. Don was also kind enough to help us get set up. Gigi got us checked in promptly and Don escorted us to our spot minutes after. When we arrived, we found the check-in office to be feet from the entrance, off to the right. Being right around a curve doesn't make it easy either, but once you've found it the first time it's fairly easy to find again. They also have a lighted sign, although it's far easier to see at night than during the day. There are two mail boxes on their side of the street and a wooden fence (to us, it looks like a concrete bridge on approach) on the opposite side of the street. It's not easy to get a long rig turned around and 20 minutes of driving to make a big loop is inconvenient if you blow past the entrance (like we did!). While it's not difficult to find this place, be sure you know where you're going before you hit the road. The internet reviews didn't steer us wrong this place is a gem.
